Patong Sunset Villa

The views are unique and as advertised. The hotel itself is outdated and desperately needs an upgrade. If the rooms are up to date and they up the service, with a nice breakfasts or optional dinners with the view, the place is worth double the current room rate. It is a unique place, but the potential is untapped for now. Also the Tuktuk mafia in front of the Hotel prevents Grab and Bolt pickups… this is thing from the past and should be dealt with.

The staff were friendly enough, and the location and view were good. However that is where the positives finish. The room had very minimal privacy as the curtains didn't cover the windows fully. The outside lights at night were so bright and filled the room due to the lack of curtain coverage. The hot water system wasn't turned on, so no hot shower. There was only half a roll of toilet paper provided. And the noise from the road traffic felt like you were sleeping beside the road. We checked out after the first night due to the lack of sleep and disappointment for the amount we paid. All the marketing photos are old and edited, the hotel is worn and requires a lot of maintenance. Access to the pool is through the tightest gap and intrudes on other rooms privacy. Finally, the towels and slippers in the room were worn/extremely used. Not inviting at all. I could accept these conditions if the room was under $40 per night. But when you pay $130 per night, this is disappointing and unacceptable 😑 I'm sorry to write this review but this is exactly our experience

Terrible location, the road noise is so loud, it feels like you sleep on the street. Not relaxing at all. Continuisly hear the loud motorcycles, tuktuk, trucks and shuttle cars with loud speaker music. Asking for another room only at B6000 possible. If cancel nor refund of deposit. Be aware this place it at the busiest road in Phuket and super noisy. 😭 So super dangerous walking anywhere from here.

Nightmare in Phuket Don’t come to this villa! Please read this. We’ve read people complaining about the noise of the construction well that was our smallest problem. The construction also belongs to the property owners as they are bulding more villas. They are flexing from 8-9 am throughout the day. So do not expect to relax in this villa. We asked them to be more quiet but they did nothing. When we checked in the guy told us to stay quiet after 10pm and he mentioned laughingly that the other guests are having parties at night. At night the other guests at the villa were having a pool party and invited many other people over, they were having music with max volume and were screaming and shouting. Then our A/C died around 11PM, we had 32 degrees at the room. The other guest started to get even louder, we asked the concierge of the villa park to ask them to not be so loud, then we asked him another 4 times. They did nothing. Everyone in our villa woke up, our baby started crying. We went to the other guest to tell them to stay quiet at 1am, then they got really aggressive with us, shouted at us and even came after us and were arguing with us and touching us provocatively. We asked the property manager again to do something, did nothing again. We felt endangered, because the other guests were aggressive, drunk and high on drugs. We even asked the proparty manager to at least give the number of the police, they also did nothing. Then we tried to sleep in the 32 degree room and listening to people shouting like animals. We managed to fall asleep at 3am. We asked them to compensate us for the horrible night, they didn’t even answer. We left them around 10 messages, but still no reply. The most they did to send a maintenance guy to fix the AC. It’s almost funny that they charge us for the usage of electricity. Some lights such as the table and pool lights were not working. It would be OK to charge use something that works. But now they want to charge us for something that they cannot deliver on. Lastly, the cleaning staff is nice but they opened the closed door without any prior notice. It’s inappropiate to enter the property without our prior consent.

It was a great stay i must say! Though It's small with very limited facilites. But whatever they offer they'll make sure u can fully avail it with your preferrences. Rooms were nice and clean.stuffs were really welcoming. Poy is the one who made us more comfortable. It has the Best view in patong. For muslims and vegetarians can stay here, since the locality for halal food is very near. (The hotel doesnot have any breakfast,rather then bucket breakfast in pool)
